Consciousness or art?

Consciousness or art?
Thursday August 13, 2009

Another personage of great interest could be the American director Woody Allen. In his films he describes very well the suffering of a disturbed personality in a comical way. Substantially he has transformed the suffering of his soul (body, which the same) in a form of art, which is the same that had made Giacomo Leopardi.
But I think: would not it be better to invest energies in solving directly the suffering of the soul instead in transforming it in art, although excellent art?

Sincerely,

F.B.

AM: It is easier to make art than to feel the pain of being abused, hated or just never loved. I leave your last question open, maybe others would like to say something about. But my answer to your (very important) question can be found in The Untouched Key and The Body Never Lies.
