Your Influence on my future practice

Your Influence on my future practice
Monday April 30, 2007

Dear Dr. Alice Miller and Team,

I have recently been accepted, and will start Graduate School for Social Service in New York, in the fall of 2007. I will be pusuing an MSW Degree, and in 2 years I will be a practicing therapist.

The purpose of this e-mail to you Dr. Miller, is to let you know that I have read almost all of your books, and that you have profoundly affected my entire approach to my own personal therapy, healing, and my future practice as a social worker and therapist. I cannot imagine working in my own recovery and future clients, any other way OTHER THAN your approach, as well as Barbara Rogers approach.

You have not only influenced me extremely deeply, but all the clients and people I will be in a position to help heal. I will use your writings and work, as a guide – free of the forced belief that past victims have to “forgive the past and move on”.

I’m so grateful – so incredibly grateful to you.

You are free to post this e-mail on your website.

With deepest love and gratitude, R. E.

AM: Thank you very much for your acknowledgement and best wishes for your future work.
